Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. Is it worth the hype?

Hello my lovelies!

So as I was sitting at my desk in work today I thought of a little series that I could upload here for all you lovely readers.

The series is going to be called Is It Worth The Hype? Every month I will be picking up something that is overly talked about or raved about in the beauty community.

I’m kicking off this series with the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder.

I picked this up when I was in London as I was in the market for a setting powder that wasn’t a powder foundation.

I’ve seen beauty gurus rave about this stuff for I don’t know how long so I thought I’d give it a try.

So this powder cost £29 which isn’t too bad considering Laura Mercier is a quite expensive brand.

It only comes in one shade which is translucent which is great as it suits most skin tones.

This powder is perfect for setting under eye concealer because it brightens the under eye so much! I’m in love with it! If you’ve followed my blog for a while you know I have trouble covering up my darks circles so this is a god send for me!

It’s a bit in the dry side which makes it perfect for setting the T-zone or if you have oily skin. If you have dry skin I recommend using a good moisturiser first and it should be fine!

I can’t get over the quality of this powder it really is amazing and brightens up not just my under eye area but my whole face! I would definitely recommend this! Even though it is on the expensive side a little goes a long way!

Have you tried it out? What did you think?

If you have any suggestions on what to review next let me know 🙂
