Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick Review.

Hey Guys!

I’m sorry I haven’t been posting a lot lately, I’ve been super busy at work and just haven’t had time to write anything or go out and find new products to talk about.

Today I’m going to be talking about the Charlotte Tilbury Matte lipstick. I have wanted this lipstick in the shade Bond Girl for such a long time but £23 is a lot just for one teeny tiny lipstick. But I just loved the shade so much I thought feck it ill get it!

I’m not saying I’m disappointed with it I just expected a lot more from a lipstick that set me back 23 quid! It is a beautiful colour and applies really nicely and is really nicely packaged in rose gold but that’s about all this lipstick has going for it.

To say its a matte lipstick, its staying power really isn’t great. I’ve tried with and without a lip liner and using a lip liner prolongs the wear by only a small amount. I’ve worn it for nights out and even at work found myself constantly having to re apply it!

Besides the fact that staying power isn’t great it doesn’t dry out my lips at all! This, for me is a massive plus as I have the driest lips in the world. So where it falls short on staying power it redeems itself here.

I haven’t totally made up my mind about this formula yet. I’m in love with the colour and packaging but I don’t think it was worth the £23 I spent on it. Especially when there are other brands out there that have a matte lipstick line and are better and cheaper.

I don’t think I’d be in a mad rush to go out and buy more shades in this fomula but I definitely don’t regret buying it.

Is there any expensive products you disappointed with? Let me know!
